Moorea is beautiful and Bora Bora is truly spectacular. If you're going on your honeymoon and you're going to stay in bungalows, I highly recommend that you go with the overwater bungalows. They're the ones built out into the ocean on platforms. Not only are they great in the sense that you can go right into the water from them and that they generally have some sort of glass area that allows you to look right into the water, they also don't have much of a problem with mosquitos. If you're not staying in overwater units, try to stay in air-conditioned regular bungalows or regular hotel rooms. This is not so much a temperature issue as, again, a mosquito issue. Most of the non-climate controlled bungalows are not sealed and bugs (i.e. mosquitos) will come and go as they please. I remember staying in a beachfront bungalow on Moorea and just getting eaten alive by the mosquitos the first night. A combination of OFF spray and burning citronella reduced their numbers but didn't eliminate the problem completely. Have fun!
