Book to read for pleasure

Any Terry Pratchett book - Discworld series, Johnny Maxwell trilogy, Good Omens, Tiffany Aching series, Dark Side of the Sun

a normal sized book 200-500 pages. as for genre, non-fiction is probably up my alley

Last great novel I read was "The Time Traveller's Wife". Not science fiction at all. Just an incredible story with great characters. The most realistic time travel story I have ever read.
