book suggestion: thieves, famous heists, etc

i just got done watching Ocean's 11 and 12 and i'm in the mood for some reading. any recommendations on great heist stories? non-fiction would be best.

Sorry for the nef, but I've always found myself interested in things after I've seen them in movies/televesion. But once I actually come to research it, I always lose interest.

I just hope that's not the case for you, or you'd be wasting money on a book. :)

Both books about the MIT blackjack guys. Not exactly "Heist" books but... kind of. Both are very good.

Actually, anything by Ben Mezerich is good.

Same here, gl though.. go to wikipedia and read about that (boston?) art robbery where they never got caught and stole a whole bunch (it was interesting)
edit: or you could watch office space

For humor, try anything by Donald E. Westlake

Beat me to it. Yep, excellent book. Maybe the only book Crichton has ever come up with a decent ending for, the rest fall apart at the end.
