I wanna pick up a sweet father's day gift for my dad. He used to read a book series called The Executioners that was from the 70's IIRC. It rings a bell with me, but I am unable to find them anywhere because I can not determine which is the correct book. I am thinking it has something to do with Dr. Strangelove, but I am not sure.

Definitely not Dr Strangelove. If it's "The Executioner" series you've got a lot of collecting to do. There are over 300 of them, about 1 per month for over 30 years. Don Pendleton only did the first 30 or so. Since then it's been written by dozens of authors and as can be expected the quality varies widely from book to book.

He only had the first ones. My mother threw them out when they got married. Whoops. Amazon has a bunch for decently cheep even though they are not in production, so I will probably order 100 of them or so. That should be agood father's day gift :D
