Book recommendation

I once heard a radio interview about the things happening in the middle east, in that interview, some guy from Iran, said there were three things that caused the the ongoing secularisation of the middle east. The first gulf war, WTC Plane crashes, and the Satanic Verses.

Now, whether this is true or not, i cannot say. But what i can say is, if a book can be compared to any of those happenings, it has to be a very unique book. And i guarantee you, it is.

I'm not gonna tell you about what happens in it, and i'd suggest you not to read on the back of the book, it ruined some of it for me.

The book itself is not very hard to read, the only thing about it is that it contains alot of stories about mahound (muhammed), which it might be easier to understand if you know something about islam. (Actually it's verbal lashes at islam, but i wouldn't advice people to choose that reason for reading it, as it has many other qualities.)

It is extremely funny! And will certainly enlighten you about Islam. And many other things.

I know the book is old, but suggesting you a masterpiece, should never be a question o time.

P&N.

It's not about politics, it's about a greast book, that you can gather some politics from the books is just a coincidence, i'm recommending it because it's brilliantly written, and hilarious!

People here are just afraid of P&N craziness spilling over to OT
