I just got a call from my mom. My hometown's "city-wide" garage sale is going on, and my mom has found what could be an amazing find. I guess one of our neighbors has a box of books sitting for sale, including three Rudyard Kipling books. The copyright dates are 1898, 1902, and she couldn't find the date on the third. Now, if my mom's right about these dates, these could be worth quite a lot (she didn't tell me the names of the books, but looking at the dates some of his books were published, they could be first or second editions). Is there a site that gives approximate appraisal values for books? The lady selling them is our neighbor and a family friend, so we don't want to rip her off. We also aren't too worried about someone else picking up these books before we figure something out, just because very few people in my area would have any interest, well, any book. (sad, but true)

And for those of you who didn't feel like reading that, my question is: What is a site that gives approximate pricing/appraisals for classic books?
