Scored a two-cushion (two cushions wide, as opposed to a full-size couch, three cushions) couch at a discount store for <$20. Now, to find a slipcover...

:D

Anyone know a good place to buy a slip cover for a loveseat (preferably under $50)?

It's 5PM here on the West Coast... I've checked out Target and Fred Meyer... Fred Meyer didn't have any, cheapest Target had was $67.

is your "fred meyer" the same as our Meijer? I believe Fred Meijer (possible name change?) is the same gentleman.

Because when you buy a used couch, you want protection.

Maybe somebody owned the couch before you and used "pull out" protection and stained the couch. ;)

rent a steamer, it'll cost you under $25 and you'll get it good and clean, not just cover up all the cooties :)

You can also use designer sheets, you can tuck them in and there are so many patterns and colors that you can find something for almost any decor. They are also easy to wash :)

Nice find....but

I hate 2 cushion couches, if you put three people on them the middle person gets stuck sitting in the crack.
If you lay on it, your butt/hip section falls into the dreaded crack area.
You have to sit on the outside edge, lest you begin to lean towards the crack area since the cushions always fail at the crack section, since most people automatically plop down right in the middle.

You could get it professionally cleaned for under $50. Probably more around $35-$40 to be exact.

That's what we charge anyway.
