Agreed.

Leaders, in the corporate world, would define the culture as;
- work from home
- once a month organize an outing (food/drinks, dinner or lunch)
- birthday parties
- dress down days
- monthly lunch and learn meetings (eat while you get an overview of what your fellow coworkers do)

LOL, do any of these things actually happen?

That sounds great :(

At my company;
- work from home
Yes, but, it has to be arranged/agreed upon with management 1st. They've said no to working from home on Mondays and Fridays.

- once a month organize an outing (food/drinks, dinner or lunch)
Nope, but there are enough groups of people that organize such things on there own.

- birthday parties
Yup, just had one yesterday.

- dress down days
Yup, today actually!

- monthly lunch and learn meetings (eat while you get an overview of what your fellow coworkers do)
The Lunch & Learns happened once a month at my previous job. At my current job,... we tried, but most people here don't do much of anything to begin with,..

We also have "Ask The CEO" where we have drink and snacks in the office as we ask questions.
