Using a lower flat Igloo cooler, you could mount the fans on the cooler top and eliminate the sanitary tees. This would reduce the height of the cooler and pump requirements and with a sheet of polyurethane foam on the water surface, increase the evaporation rate. The Igloo cooler I have my eye on has a 17.5 gallon capacity.

about the double wye, using it b/c i'm getting it for free (donation)... i know it'd be shorter w/o, but i like that double wye look more than that of a bigger cooler, and yes i know more water is better, but i like this look for now. i was thinking i could upgrade the cooler if need be.

i updated the main pic and added some detail pics...

Basically,
the water is sucked through the waterblock from the cooler then it goes through the pump and is pumped through the waterheads, where it collects once again in the cooler.

Additions:
Blue LED's
Rheostats for fans and pump
Quick disconnect hose fittings
Relay Switch
Different Shower Nozzles

Just a "something to consider", but while the AC is pumping away, bong coolers are great. Air conditioning is sucking that humidity right back out of the air, no problem. In the winter, air is drier than in the summer, but there's nothing actively removing it from your living quarters...

Back when I was into aquariums pretty big I got sick of the humidity they caused. Winter wasn't bad, but I keep the house colder than most and was only losing about a half a gallon a day. Remember some spring and fall days when it wasn't warm enough to open the windows before leaving and coming back to a damp feeling house because it'd gotten warm during the day. Maybe a gallon and a half at most we're talking here (I had too many tanks setup :) )

From what I read in one bong thread, a decent bong is going to be putting out a couple gallons a day, right? Just something to think about in advance. The bigger your house/computer room the better.

Keep innovating, love reading all the ideas!

Ok. I'm glad that this is a cooling device. I might look into building one, if only to say to my friends 'I have a bong cooling my CPU' :D
I was kinda worried about the title when i first saw it 'Bong Diagram' 'Here are my plans to build a bong'
I was gonna say... 'Wow, your diagraming your bong and then posting it on AT for everyone to see..... not too sneaky there'
LOL, I'm glad that i got that cleared up.

me thinks those "earl's" hose fittings (anodized blue aluminum) i provided a link for won't work...

Just to be sure, my mag7 has a ID thread of 1/2", my hose (1/2") has an id of 1/2", correct? so i'll need a 1/2" barb thread w/ 1/2" hose fitting....
