Bonehead PSU question for P4 platforms

I've built dozens of AMD systems but am putting together my first P4 platform - Asus P4S533 with P4 2.4B.

I have an Antec 430 Watt PSU. That'll work won't it? I mean, there is a standard ATX connector for the current P4 boards, right?

Thanks!

I thin all P4's have the standard ATX but they also have a Square 4 pin power plug. Like the Ide one, just square.

The antec should have this. Look at the plugs on your power supply and go to newegg and look up SiS648 or any P4 board and look at the plugs on the board.

You should be OK.

Yes, it has those plugs. I guess that is what the white rectangular connector next to the ATX connector is.

Thanks for answering.

PS.

If you don't mind, could you, or someone, please tell me a decent core temp for the 2.4B? Is somewhere around 50C to be expected? What would be a dangerous temp for this chip (close to frying it)?

I'll probably boot up with the retail hsf, but have a Thermalright AX-478 on the way.
