Bonded Dialup Access Question

I live in the boone docks and cannot get DSL (although it's coming closer and closer). I've got a Dual dial in ISP that lets me connect two phone lines to the same dial up account (and yes, the ISP does support dial up bonding). Much like a 2B ISDN connection that I had at a previous address.

ISDN Is syncronous, where analog is not. So, I realize there's a big difference there in my connection capabilities, and speed. When I'm downloading files on one computer (getting between 8-11k) I have a very difficult time accessing any other internet facility from any PC. When multiple PCs are on the internet, we have no problems at all.

I realize that just browsing is not a resource hog like dling is, but I don't understand what could be causing the headache associated with browsing and downloading at the same time (even from the same PC).

Before I upgraded to the dual dial up account, I was on an earthlink dialup shared with Freesco. After I turned off bandwith reservation on my XP box, I could DL, and browse without any problems on the smae machine and even multiple machines. Granted, it was slow, but it still worked.

I realize that this is really comparing Apples and Genetically grown apples :), but I've gone through every available menu on my Router, and have turned off all bandwidth allocation, instead instructing it to always stay connected to two-lines. I guess the question is is this something that's a result of bonding analog lines, or is this something that is traced to my ISP????

Why would this be affecting me on a bonded dialup account, when it did not affect me on a single dial up account?

Thanks,
Chris
