Bond babe Diana Rigg passes away.

Probably better known as Mrs. Peel from "The Avengers" show in the 60's...or her part on Game of Thrones. ( but, yes, she was in the George Lazenby Bond movie...and is the ONLY "Mrs. Bond" in the series.

NoooOOOOoOoOOOOOOO!

Best Bond lady/wife, and saucy Queen of the Flower people or whatever they were called in that show.

If Sean Connery starred in maybe.
doesn't matter. It's still the only one that's an actual film, up until Daniel Craig showed up. ...and to be fair, Sean Connery was in, basically, two good Bong flicks. The rest were dreck.

He wasn't very Bond-like, either, but that doesn't mean I don't think his version wasn't awesome.

Which Casino Royale? The Niven one or the Craig one? I actually like both and have them on Blu-ray. The opening to the Craig CR was a hoot noir look. That look could have been the making of a good late 50's spy series.

The Niven one is a Blake Edwards spoof flick that, IIRC, actually pre-dates Dr No? It's not in the Bond canon, because it isn't Broccolli production studios. No one honestly confuses the two in any discussion. (yes, there were many, well, decades, where you mention that title and there is no confusion because, well, very few knew what you are even talking about prior to ~2005, lol)

Anyway, yeah...Craig's Casino Royale was really just as good as Bond could get, IMO.

Also, I will watch anything with Eva Green in it and let her presence bias all of my opinions, so there is that....
