I heard about that, but nothing can compare to the NES version...

The others just aren't the same, very basic enemies in the first and the works..

Atomic was alright on the PC. It didn't compare to the version on the Genesis. The Dreamcast was supposedly one of the best, especially online, but I never had a chance to play it
 
Nothing beats the original Super bomber man! I spent many sleepless hours on the multi player game. 4 of us would get together and play all night. The Sega ver was good too. I miss that game. That and Dr. Mario. Talk about addiction.
