i was born and raised in the US, but i think i can make it big in india as an actor and bring some good acting to india. how can i go about breaking into the biz?

You need hookups man. It's not easy getting in unless you know people. Either that or you win the Mr. India competition.

I don't know man. I don't watch that sh!t. I watch Miss Universe though. I just said that because there was an old desi movie back in that day with that title and I assumed such a pageant existed. Google it and you may find something.

that movie (Mr India) had nothing to do with a beauty pageant. It was about him being a superhero...wasn't the greatest movie actually.

All you gotta do to get into Bollywood is look good.

you can't make it in bollywood unless you can sing and dance at the drop of a hat.

what he said

well i can dance well, maybe not indian dancing but that's not that hard to learn, and most indian actors don't sing, but i can lip sing pretty good

my only deficit is that i don't speak any language, but i could pick that up within a few months

oh yea, i can do a really good indian accent too

lol learning hindi isn't that easy buddy. its right up there with trying to learn chinese/japanese(though not AS hard...but very close to it)
oh and talking like apu will not help...

my accent is more authentic than apu, and i only use it to give that same dialiect of english so i seem more authentic, kinda like how collin farrel talks like an american in his movies even though he has an irish accent in real life

So lets get this straight...you can't dance, you can't sing, have never acted, can't speak a word of Hindi, don't know anything about the culture/religion (I assume) and the only thing you have going for yourself so far is that "you look a lot better than most Indian actors".

Good luck

if ur rich enough, finance your own movie and release it. most of the indian movie starts (new ones) are sons and daughters of the old stars(who have now become directors/producers/etc). its like a family business.

i can dance, i can't sing (like i said, most indian actor's and actresses don't sing anyways), i can't speak hindi except for a few words, but i do know a decent bit about the culture and religion, in addition to my looks

I THINK YOU LEFT OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF BEING AN ACTOR

i haven't done any theatre per say, but i feel like i could do a decent enough job now without any prior experience

and of course i would take acting lessons to refine any skill if i do have it to begin with

Dude, for the sake of Darwinism.. I hope you are being freakin sarcastic or u r just 12 years old

darwinism??? what does that have to do with me thinking i could do something in bollywood??? i think that's a little drastic, and overly dramatic 😛
