bolded text everywhere in xp...???

So all the text displayed looks as if it is bolded, or extremely shawdowed? and ideas how to fix this?

Right click on your desktop display - select Properties, then Appearance, then Advanced. Then set the font and style/attributes for each display element as you desire.

In the Effects area, you can uncheck the shadowed box.

Is cleartype enabled? (Under effects instead of advanced). You can configure it.

Did this just happen all of a sudden? My font in XP and on websites changed all of a sudden a few days ago.
