It looks like your text is bold, and is showing up as such for me.

Bold in the new forum software isn't as pronounced as the old system, but it is still darker than normal text.

When in the old forum, Bold was clearly seen and easily defined. With this new change, you can not even tell that it got changed.

If you need to hold something or make it more noticeable, you can use a larger text don't like this. It's what I do now for things like mod warnings. You could even change the color as well to make it way more noticeable.

Outside of that, I'm not sure if they have any immediate plans to change the default bold look, and hopefully you don't need bold text all that often (unless you are a poster who likes "yelling" all the time). ;)

Edit:

Now that I am on my desktop PC, I see what you mean. On my laptop and tablet, there is a clear distinction between normal and bolded text, but on this monitor, the regular text is darker than the bold. Odd.

There are times, like when Flash is updated or similar, that I bold the new version number or items to that effect. This way when someone reads the post, the important part is clearly defined. Like if I put a list of steps to fix an issue.

Lets make an option for text to flash! On second thought, no, let's NOT do that............

Yeah, I can kinda see (or not see lol) the (non)difference. The bold is a little bit......uhhhh.....bolder, but not by much on my desktop pc:

bold

not bold

Option B would be better as Firefox 52ESR does not support the Stylus Extension ..And I am sure how to make it work if it did and it would need to be done on every computer I use. So it should be fixed in the embedded themes that the forum uses and lets the user select from.

I don't know the default text font being used, but it's fine on Firefox, but Chrome looks all bold. Changing fonts to Trebuchet MS, font looks normal on both Firefox and Chrome, but bold quit working. (This is typed in Trebuchet MS font, and 'bold' is activated on the word bold)
