Boise St v Nevada game..

In reports that I've seen they're calling Boise St's 69-67 win over Nevada the highest scoring game evAr.

But this game here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1...gia_Tech_football_game tops that total score by almost 90 points. Am I missing something here?

I think tey are referring to hgihest scoring NCAA I-A scoring game....the game referenced there was between what would have been considered NCAA II/III schools - where the records are extreme like that for a number of games due to some schools fielding teams of guys that arent on scholorship.

Div 1-A only started in the 70s, I believe. So that's what they were referring to.

ESPN said the record is of games since they started recordings stats in the 30s. This 222 to 0 game was exceptional enough to be remembered before they kept stats for all the games...

Check the fan sites of the respective teams. Sometimes they will have torrents of the games.
