Boing sound clip plays when viewing sites in IE

When I visit websites IE has been playing a BOING sound clip which is really irritating. I've gone through and checked my programs and have run various spyware detectors (ad-aware and pestpatrol for example) and have found nothing. I then thought it may be the google toolbar I use as there is an option which says "play sound when blocking ads" but that option is turned off and I tried uninstalling it but that didn't help either. Anyone have an idea what is causing this and how the can i get IE to stop playing that BOING sound clip? I've disabled all sound from Sounds and Audio Devices in the control panel. Oh, and I'm using XP Pro SP1. 😕

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio devices

Click the 'sounds' tab. In the window, scroll down to 'Windows Explorer' and in the sub menu, highlight 'Start navigation'

Pull down the drop down box below, where it currently says 'Start' or 'Windows XP Start' and choose the sound you want to hear there (default is 'Windows XP Start' for XP -- it's that clicking sound) or '(none)' if you want nothing. Click 'Apply', then click OK, and close the Control Panel.
