Sprint has been announced. Project is Cosmology@home.

Remeber, to participate you HAVE to register and validate your CPID (takes about 24 hours).

This sprint is 6 days long.

I finally decided to update the OS on my old Xeon. Fresh install of Xubuntu 22.04. I still got an error running Cosmology on the default BOINC instance. It's working now, but only on an instance I started as root. 🙄

Oh, Nice I am already running it, but for Ukraine

boincgames doesn't go based on the team you're on for the project. Its whatever team you joined for boincgames.

So while you might be running the project for Ukraine on the project level, the points are going towards TAAT on boincgames.

29 hours into the race

If [DPC] hansR from Dutch Power Cows is reading this, you need to confirm your CPID on your account before your points will count. Currently your CPID status is unverified.

XtremeSystems, your team isn't listed in this Sprint because you created/joined BOINCGames during the middle of the competition. Your marathon points should start showing up in about 24 hours. (bluestang still needs to confirm his CPID)

What is a "TeAm AnandTech"? Seems a bit schizophrenic, which in the grand scream of things does not seem so out of normal. Maybe just needs a bit of help?

AFAIK the user who runs the BOINC client needs to be member of the vboxusers group.
usermod -aG vboxusers boinc

Older VBox versions do seem to work better, such as v5.2.44, instead of 6.1. I get fewer tasks that get stuck with Vm job has become unmanageable.
