BOINC... waiting to run

So I have on Woodall WU that is 89% through... I switched to different types of tasks and now everything is running "high priority" and that Woodall task has been sitting for a couple of days now. Will the client recognize when the WU is getting close to its expiration date and let it run? Its deadline is 5/16 and has about 5 hrs left on it.

Yes it will eventually run.
If the tasks running "High Priority" now truly need to then you should let them. In fact, look to see if they will all finish in time ... if not maybe abort those that won't.

If the High Priority is in error and it bugs you like it does me that the Woodall WU will not finish for a week ... I have a trick. 🙂

"Suspend" all other CPU tasks for two or three seconds ... this will allow the Woodall to start. Once it is started it should keep going until finished.
