You'll never know it's there.

however: make sure you have enough RAM toi support your game after BOINC snitches it's part.

To Game and Crunch, I recommend 2GB, expecially if you game on line. Some games don't do a good job of releasing RAM when they change maps and you end up goin' virtual after a few hours.

Thanx, for some reason it makes my tv studder. Games are fine and I do have 2 gig ram!

Failed to mention that I ran dpad backround and never had the studder!

Bummer on the TV. It hasn't affected mine. (Hauppauge PVR-250)

I guess you'll just have to try stuff out and see if it makes sense to run BOINC.
