I've been squeezing and squeezing this thing, but only a little puss and blood comes out. It's still hard and enflamed and painful to the touch.

Try squeezing it after a super hot bath. The hot water softens the puss and opens your pores and makes the skin easier to break through.

How am I going to stick my facecheek into the hot water though. I can't hold my breath for that longI'll figure out a way.

Haha I really thought you meant the cheek of your a$$.
Put a super hot compress on your face for about 30 minutes and then try.

An infected hair follicle that swells and when infected becomes an abscess.

On the rare occasion I get a boil, I use a razor blade to slice it open slightly, then a sterilized Dental Pick to fish out the ingrown hair that caused it.
Not pretty nor painless, but it gets the job done, heals faster, and helps prevent re-occurrence (The problem with most boils is that even after they burst & drain or are lanced, the ingrown hair remains ingrown, and oftentimes causes the boil to re-occur).
The wife suffers from boils a lot, especially on her groin area. She's too wussy to even try to squeeze them. They wind up swelling tremendously and bursting on their own!
I have seen some that left holes the size of a pencil eraser diameter!
Needless to say, that area is not a pretty site, with the scars and marks they leave.
