Didn't they do some kind of stress test where they flexed the wings until the tips were touching over the fuselage? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

I came here to ATOT looking to start a new thread...alas i found this one ;)

So, after reading about all the weather reports on a.net, people seem to be kinda doubtful.

Any Seattle area ATOTers care to chime in with their thoughts?

Carbon Fiber is much stronger than aluminum or steel. I have no reason to believe that plane is not sound. Most of the delays have been supplier related.

That's what they get for outsourcing all the various functions in aircraft manufacturer to some 3rd party contractor.
