Boehner. Dumb motherfucker or motherfucking dumb.

\why not both?

He's none of that. He's pandering to the lowest common denominator in the Repub base. He needs for all the Teatards who tried to unseat him in the Primary to come out & vote for him in the general election. They'll follow a trail of red meat right to the voting booth. He doesn't want them to forget where they're going.

This is asinine. Obamacare was a botched abortion of an implementation, largely because it offered unlimited power to the bureaucracy and empowered the congenitally inept. To force adherence to a time schedule would mean hurting Americans from government failing to do its function.

I'm all in favor of smacking down Obama for taking un-Constitutional powers, but for Christ's sake not when it's clearly needed. If someone shoots down a charging grizzly, only a fool sues him for poaching.

This administration has repeatedly delayed the ACA to avoid the damage it will cause, and the election losses that would follow.
It's time for a court to determine the illegality of those actions.

Obama is being sued for unilaterally breaking the law of his own ACA.

This administration has repeatedly delayed the ACA to avoid election losses. It's time for a court to determine the illegality of those actions.

For Boehner to have standing, it would mean that he was personally harmed by the mere delay of a provision of Obamacare :D The same Obamacare he was saying we should repeal entirely :D

Never has a man so thoroughly put his boot into the ass of a political party than Obama has done to the Republican party. I got some more bad news for you right wing loons, Obama is going to keep working you rubes for decades to come. I can't wait to see when the right wing is put against the wall once and for all..

Granted, but for the analogy to hold Obama would have had to intentionally borked the implementation, no?

Ha good one
Who is the criminal mastermind Obama or Boehner? Could it be both?
Hasn't Obama been saying the Bear is loose lately?
I haven't heard him say that, but I don't hear much news anymore.

I don't think Obama and Boehner together could make a criminal mastermind.

I want to see Obama on TV announcing that HE is suing house republicans (and their leader Boehner) for failure to do their jobs.
Now THAT is a legit lawsuit.
The people elect house republicans, the people pay house republicans, house republicans collect their paycheck week after week, and yet do nothing.
Yes Obama... sue them on behalf of the taxpayer for failure to serve.
If you were in the military and just sat there refusing to do your job, you'd be severely punished. Probably kicked out and also jailed.
Well... Seems the same rules should apply to loafing house republicans.
Sue them Obama. SUE!!!

I highly doubt the OP will edit the thread title to reflect a more accurate assessment of the real issue. Obamacare is taking to long... no wonder obama got re-elected in 2012... helluva a lot of low-information voters out there.

Bitterness about the 2012 election is not sufficient harm for standing.

You're arguing there's no Judicial Review if the Executive branch commits illegal acts. If not Congress whose laws were violated, then who has standing?

If the Executive branch has committed illegal acts why hasn't the president been impeached? Some constitutional lawyers have spoken out on this. Congress has the ability to both enact new laws or impeach the president. Those are the remedies the Constitution affords them.

Seems to me Obama is delaying the particularly painful aspects of the ACA unlawfully. OFC its political what they are both doing but Obama is wrong in not upholding law.

Law and order is like a cornerstone of good civilization. Check my posts from way back where I rail on criminal Bush.

I just leave this here

“The government is the potent omnipresent teacher. For good or ill it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that the end justifies the means — to declare that the government may commit crimes — would bring terrible retribution.”
