I have just been dragged around by my little cousins for 5 hours, which was all spent outside, and now I feel winded. I took a shower and now I feel fine but theres one thing that's bugging me. When I take a deep breathe, it hurts. Is this normal after alot of activity?

Probably dehydration. Make sure next time you are hydrated before and during activities.

I'm a father and I drag around two small kids all day every Saturday/Sunday, breathing shouldn't hurt. Time to see the doctor.

If this has been happening to you recently, it could be allergies.

Where does it hurt specifically? I would guess you pulled a muscle in your back or something, and it is being contracted when you breathe deeply causing pain.

it's sometimes good to rinse the dirt out of your lungs. remember you can only do it once though.

Happened to me when I first started running. Just a combination of shitty cardiovascular shape and not being used to breathing that hard.

Or it could be SARS.

If the problem persists, go see your doctor. Otherwise, I think it's common after an intense workout, esp. for people who don't exercise regularly

what hurts? where is it? does it radiate or go from one place to another? what kind of pain? what makes it feel better? what makes it feel worse? can you bend side to side with your arms over your head without pain?

Did you happen to eat any microwave burritos AFTER cleaning your microwave with Windex?
