I can't believe they nicknamed Randy Johnson "The Big Unit." Hahah, how does that get by the censors?

"I don't think there's anybody in law enforcement who would think a defendant would be that stupid to keep a dead body in a storage shed rented under his own name," District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said. "Luckily, people like this keep us in business."

You know, in cases like these we should just start handing out the executions along with the verdicts.

"Police said the unit smelled when they opened it, though no one had apparently noticed the odor before"

After 14 years it still stunk?

I don't believe that the death sentence deters criminals, but I believe criminals like these need to executed.

Great police work there, only took them 14yrs to connect the boyfriend with a criminal history to checking out the storage unit.

I dunno, to me it seems like that should have been done a lot sooner, not that it would have made much difference in the end... sounds like he isn't suspected of other things at this time. I hope not.

Probably was hard to track down the fact he owned the storage unit. If he was paying in cash there may have been no record of it. Seems like he slipped up and somehow is probation officer found out about it.

Slight inconsistancy there though...!

Says she went missing in 1990.

The daughter was raped in 1993, and the mother confronted him "a couple of weeks later" then went missing. How did that work?

He was convicted in 1993. It probably took 3 years to try him.
