Eggs by themselves are not a great source of any single nutrient, but they are a good source of combined nutrients. Egg protein is some of the most easily digestible protein which can be found in natural sources. I've been bodybuilding - non professionally - for over 15 years now, and eggs have been a important part of my nutritional program. Lean meats, chicken and fresh fish should supply you with all the protein you need. And lots of fresh vegetables, greens and fiber should provide you with minerals and vitamins. A good supplement which balances these nutrients would be Brewers Yeast, in pill form. Also, new manufacturing processes in When Protein manufacturing have made Whey Protein powders very effective and digestible at a relative low cost to the consumer. My personal favorite is 'Optimum Nutrion 100% Whey Protein powder'. Brewers yeast is rich in minerals and amino acids, and a good supplement for active individuals, but your priority should be to get your meals in order before going the supplementation route.

Not protein pills, but protein powder. If you're serious about weightgain, you will definitely need protein supplements.

Ack, Optimum? I have a 5lb bucket of the strawberry flavor, and i only used it once because it's so awful. Best tastes for me are Designer Protein and one other that's on the tip of my tongue, but i can't remember atm.

Designer protein is good. Optimum is decent but the strawberry flavor tastes highly chemical to me (too much in the way of artificial flavors I guess). I can't remember what I'm using now.

I manged to land some decent size tuna cans the other day at $.50 each so I stocked up!

i heard protein crap make your farts and sh!t smell baaaaddddd

You heard right. I crap on average 3 times a day. Never 4 times, but rarely as little as 2.

I use the GNC brand of powdered protein, I don't think the chocolate tastes bad at all, it actually taste pretty good once you get used to the consistency. The directions call to mix one scoop with 8 oz of water, but I mix it with milk instead because it seems to taste alot better. You can pick up a container for about $30 at any GNC.

Another good source of protein besides eggs is tuna, although that is not for everybody. I fvcking hate tuna but am going to try to mix it with something to mask the smell. Make sure to get the tuna that come in spring water, and not the kind that comes in oil. *ralph* I heard mustard works good but I have not tried it yet.

Three letters.... K F C!!!

It may not be good for you, but it has a abit of protein, and tastes OHHHHHH so good.... FINGER LICKIN' GOOD!!

:D :D :D

Yeh... eggs get tiring after a while. Try a protein shake... made with milk/water, protein powder, and some flavoring so it doesn't taste like chalk/crap.

I would definitely rather do protein rather than creatine (i haven't taken creatine myself in about 2-3 yrs now). You're not even feeding your muscles enough protein even if you weren't taking creatine, and here you are taking creatine and not even increasing your protein intake?

3 eggs at breakfast is FAR from enough protein you should be consuming if you're trying to gain size fast.
