So, has anyone seen "Bodies: the exhibition" ?

It's showing in only a few big cities: Seattle, Las Vegas, New York, Miami and Amsterdam

If you've never heard about it, it's THIS

I read about it before I went and was unsure if I'd be freaked out about it, or if it would be cool.
It's VERY interesting and I'd recommend it to everyone ages 8+

It wasn't too creepy but I think one person fainted while I was there. There was nothing "gory" about it -- it was scientific and too much like a museum to be scary.

Anyone else see it?

In Seattle, they show healthy lungs compared to a smoker's lungs.
They had a big glass bin under a phrase on the wall that said "It's not too late to quit" (or something like that) -- and the bin was about 1/3rd full of cigarette packs.

It would be interesting to know if seeing what smoking does to your body is motivation enough for people to quit for good.

I saw it here in Houston and it was called Body Worlds. I saw the IMAX as well and that got me more queezy than the actual exhibits.

I saw more or less the same thing, under a different title, in Boston. It was really, really cool. The artistry of the presentation combined with the incredible complexity of the meat machines was quite a sight. I'd very much recommend it.

i tried to check it out at the Museum of Science a couple days ago but it was totally sold out. Going to try once more before it leaves on the 7th.

Looks a lot like Body Worlds. The Body Worlds 3 show is here in Vancouver, BC. Still have not seen it. It will only be in town for a few more weeks so I guess I better get off my ass.

saw the body world in london 2-3yrs ago when it was still illegal to import these dead bodies into US. it was cool, I was inches away from these 'exhibits', then I smell something funny, and realized that I was really looking at dead bodies, then saw the one that was holding his own skin, that was the final straw, and I had this sudden urge to puke. I left the 'show' soon after that.

Don't know about exhibition but website seriously sucks. Navigation is near to impossible because to switch to different submenu you have to leave it entirely. None of the videos work. Figures, anyone dumb enough to use flash won't make anything working.

I would like to see this, but its not in a local area to me.

Wasn't this scene in Casino Royale, when Bond kills Dimitri?
