After finishing 2nd last year in the 6th man of the year voting Bobby Jackson of the Kings has earned
The 6th Man of the year award this year.
I'm very happy for the guy, and being a Kings fan it is that much cooler.
Here is the link.

Does anyone care?
Does anyone think someone else should have gotten it?
I'm interested to see what people think of their local teams and their 6th men.
I kinda thought that Andrei Kirilenko would have gotten it, he seems to help Utah a lot coming from the bench.

I care, and I agree. Bobby Jackson deserved it this year. I hope the Kings win it all too.

The 6th Man Award is basically given to a player that doesn't start but helps his team the most coming off of the bench.

damn right BJ finally got it. At least people now will start to realize just how good that man is. I swear he must have like a 5 foot vertical jump.

Now all that people need to realize is that Rick Adelman deserves Coach of the Year.

I think it should have gone to Redd or Van Exel. Jackson missed too many games, and of the games he played he started too many to really be considered for the "6th man" imo - started 26 games, off the bench for 33 games, 23 dnp.
