In Taiwan, HK, and perhaps other asia countries, there's this drink which translates to Pearl Milk Tea in english. I could say it in mandarin, but it wouldn't make any sense to you all (no offense) and I don't think I would too well of a job spelling it in english fuhnetiks.
The drink is
basically some tea with some sort of milk added to it, it isn't condensed, or the normal kind....but it's made by Carnation.....anyway, the little balls at the bottom which are made out of yam starch or tapioca starch. (as Aquaman said) You cook these balls of starch, and they're really hard to cook and get just right. If you cook 'em just right, they bascially turn out to be jelly balls, but with a bit more consistency. After that's done, you put them into the milk tea you've mixed up, and there ya' go. Pearl Milk Tea. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed, but if I knew more, I'd open my own store.

If any of you haven't had it, you're MISSING OUT. This is some of the best stuff on earth.
