You should give "two-shits" they help give you the way of life you are living right now.
Yes, like Bush is doing what no other person on earth is capable of. I don't owe my way of life or the freedom I have to Bush; it existed long before him, and will exist long after he's gone. A President is only as good as the decisions he makes in office; the wars he served in, or the freedom I have right now are not things to gauge a Presidency by.
September 11th would have occurred no matter who was in office. The aftermath of it could have been handeled in a number of ways, and I'm not saying Bush did a bad job. What is wrong is the way Bush is meandering from the war on terrorism to something like the dissolution of Saddam's regime.
Iraq is in no way a perfect country right now. They need some definite restructuring, but not the 6-month "kill Saddam and replace him with a democratic govt." operation. The people of Iraq, as much as they suffer each day, will not support any US military action in their country. They already went through a war with Bush Sr. and learned their lesson; any further involvement by the US needs to be diplomatic and nothing more.
AND PUH-LEEZE, how many idiots around here are still chewing on that bullsh1t from Bush and Cheney about "Iraq nearing their nuclear goal" and "Iraq plans to conquer the Middle East". You have to be the most gullable sumb1tches around. This was never about nukes. Saddam may be ruthless, but he's not an idiot. He knows that any action against the oil fields surrounding his country will create unanimous agreement among western nations to annihilate his regime. He knows that his army will never have the strength to put up a decent fight with western forces. Basically, he knows that he has to stay put; otherwise he'll be signing a suicide note.
If Bush goes ahead with military action in Iraq, expect nothing short of complete opposition from Arab nations, with the fireworks to boot. You think our occupation of holy lands in Saudi Arabia, or our involvement with Israel pissed them off before, we will have a hell of a time controlling terrorism after this.
