I have a P4P800 Deluxe on the way, (be here tomorrow acutally) and I have some questions for the *experts*
I am using GeiL memory in my current rig:
ASUS P4S533
256 MB Geil PC3500 DDR CAS 2.5 6-3-3 2T
GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128 MB DDR
80 Gig Maxtor DiamondMax HD
I plan on swapping the CPU over, buying another 256 MB stick of the same RAM, and adding a GeForce FX 5600 256 MB DDR.
I read something on this forum, that alluded that this board wasn't going to support the new Canterwood processors?
Will, I be able to buy in a month or so, a new 800 Mhz. FSB processor, and enable the Dual Channel feature with this RAM?
Will I be better off buying different RAM?
I like GeiL and they put there money where there mouth is, with a lifetime warranty to boot.
Would I be better off, just spending the extra $40 and buying the ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe?
