is this a parody? 😕

More like "inspired by..."

Might want to put that in the title, since the "games" thread was locked.

That said... probably Risk and chess, possibly Stratego.

Chess, Stratego, Risk: 2210.

If you like Risk but haven't played Risk:2210 go buy it immediately, its incredible.

Monopoly is always a good one... especially with the wheeling and dealing for properties.
I always liked Stratego, but haven't played it in a looong time.

I'm a big fan of board games. Or at least I was a big fan; I can't find anyone to play with me anymore. Probably the most fun game in theory is Axis and Allies. However, those games are far too long and far too drawn out that no one I know finishes them (same goes for Monopoly if you play strictly by the Monopoly rules). Thus it doesn't get my vote as my favorite.

Risk is quite good. So are Mystery Mansion and Stratego. There are dozens of other good games that I've played and dozens of bad ones.

But what gets my vote is Sorry. Yes, it is a simple child's game. But get a buch of adults playing it, ones who are more after revenge than winning, and it can be a very, very fun game. Add alcohol and you have another very fun dimension.

2nd vote for Settlers of Catan.

If you haven't played it, get some board gaming friends together and go play it. It rocks.

Just don't abuse the sheep too much while you're at it 😉

Scategories FTW.

I rarely though win because I spend too much time trying to think of the dirtiest answers possible rather than trying to answer all of them before time runs out 🙂

We've played a round of drunken Strip Sorry. It was amusing.

Dark Tower and Risk. OLD Risk though. Wooden blocks or the "triangle" pieces. Not the stupid Roman Numerals or the current "figures"
