After four years of being on a cruddy ass 56k modem, i'll soon be on my way to broadband. Woohooo.

Heh. It's a rush going to the Next Big Thing in bandwidth. I've done:

2400 to 14.4, 2 or 3 years at 2400.
14.4 to 19.2, a year at 14.4
19.2 to 28.8, a couple months at 19.2
28.8 to 33.6, a few months at 28.8
33.6 to 512/64 (later 512/128) cable, over a year at 33.6
512/128 to 1.5/384 ADSL, over 4 years at cable.

A fun ride I think the biggest rushes came at 2400 to 14.4 and 33.6 to 512. Have fun
