Isn't that quote (GO BO GO BO GO BO) from a poster? I believe I used to have that poster, was it gray with a silhouette of him in the background and him running along the bottom? Wait, is this Trivia? Guess not, sorry.

I have the book, I even got an autographed copy, never even opened it except to admire the autograph and imagine how much money it could be worth. Unfortunately he is neither famous nor talked about nowadays so teh book merely collects dust.

edit: I didn't pay for the autographed copy... i got it for free, so yeah, i'm not that much of a sucker.

I own a few copies of his book. He's one of my sports heroes. IMO, the best physical athelete of all time.

I was lucky enough to be at the game in the Kingdome when he ran over "Boz".

He was one hell of a running back/outfielder. I had the pleasure of meeting him on a plane from Ohare to Miami and I think i gushed. When he was at his peak i was just 13-14 and I pretty much told him how I thouhght he was bad ass. Very nice guy. We talked for maybe 40 minutes on the flight.

Yea I thought the SI article was good also. Now if he opens up his restaurant and they do well. He should be a guest chef on Iron Chef if they make specials anymore...

i remember him. He came into the sports authority i was working at last summer to buy some shoes. What a dick. Employee just wanted an auto and he told him to get away.

So then said employee went to the intercom system and started saying "bo knows football, bo knows baseball"

I still get chills thinking about his career.

Never seen anything more electrifying than him in the backfield other than maybe mj in the open court and sugar ray leonard turning it on.

I loved his attitude too..."if someone hits me, I'm gonna make him pay". :D

Even when he was here with the whitesox and struck out most of the time, he electrified the crowd by just entering the batting box, seriously! No one else like him.

He's seems very humble outside his career as well...altho sort of has a reputation for keeping to himself and not talking to people much in celebrity golf events.

Bo = definition of athletic god imo.

that sucks. like i mentioned above, it seems he likes to somewhat keep to himself in public.
