BNC connectors for monitors?!?

Hmm.. I've been reading some stuff here and there and came across some wierd info.
High quality monitors have BNC connectors? I thought those were for networking purposes only (10Base-2 right?)? Arrggg... Anyone have any pictures of a BNC connector for a monitor?
