BN: They Caught Him!!! [Bret Edmunds - In relation to Utah kidnapping]

Was that in the article you linked to? Sounds like they're still looking for the kidnapper but I only skimmed over the article.

I hope they find those two missing Oregon City girls.

Another dead end in the search for the girl. The SLC PD have bungled this from day one. This guy will turn out to be much ado about nothing.

Maybe, maybe not. Let's hope for the better, though.

I am not familiar with the Oregon girls, do you have a link? I have seen bits and pieces of it, but nothing to the extent of the Utah girl. I wonder why?

Let me get this straight... This guy stole (and then ditched) some license plates, traveled across the country, overdosed on heroin, and then checked himself into a hospital under a false name.

Not saying that he's the guy who did it... but he's running from something.

How the hell does HE get all the way to WV?

They didn't even really "catch" him he caught himself by checking into the hospital (i'm not saying he commited any acts but i'm sure he knew someone was looking for him).

Anyways, hope she turns out ok.

I don't get it. Since the rate of young girls disappearing daily is very high. Why is this one so special?

I do hope that they find out what happend. It'd be terrible if they found her dead like what happen to Chandra Levy.

Has there ever been a missing person case this long were the person wasn't? 🙁

I think maybe because she was taken out of her own bed.

I feel the same way. The media is putting so much attention on this one case when there are hundreds of other similar cases, except they didnt come from white rich suburbs. Or they didnt have an "angelic" face.

They are all rich......

I can't remember when last time a poor black girl who disappears and made the headlines.

Not saying it's media's fault... perhaps it is because the family is rich that they could use that money to attract some attentions?

They live in a house that's at least one mil. I read that somewhere... someone have the actual figure on that?

EDIT: They also have 12 computers

Link

The FBI gets involved in ALL kidnapping cases. Just because the media is paying this one attention doesn't mean that they don't give the same effort on each and every case.

Their house was for sale for $1.13 million IIRC, but who the hell cares?

My parents house is worth around $300K, & they're not well to do at all.

Yes, I agree with you. But that still doesn't invalidate my statement. I wouldn't know who alexis, until you point out the link... she's buried all the way in the backpages.

I'm just talking about the medias here. I sure FBI takes every case seriously.

300K is a big difference compare to 1.13 million. Imagine if your parents have that extra 600k sitting around.

With that said, it might be just a loan for the house?

Now, 12 computers? They all could be cheap e-machines.
