BMW's U.S. chief says new products will continue to propel sales

are they doing bad saleswise to begin with?

They have sold the most number of 7-series since this new design, altho I'm not sure how the 5-series is doing (altho it must be good...i see quite a few new E60s around)

Does that mean you will not buy BMWs once Bangle leaves and that you like Bangle?!?

<How is the X3 doing?

We're happy enough with the current running rate, but it's a very competitive sector. >

That means it sucking @ss.

I have seen alot of 6 series these days. They are repulsive to me. They look like the bastard child of a 7 and a Z4.

No, BMW sales were up last year 4.3%, on the whole. This includes MINI, which was up 21.4% last year.

However, all model series achieved very successful sales figures in comparison with competitors.

According to these numbers:
3 Series: -7.8% YTD through April 2004 vs. the same period in 2003
5 Series: +4.6%
7 Series: -13.4%
Z3/4: -36.2%
X5: -16.8%

Their overall numbers aren't that bad due to the addition of the 6 Series and the X3, but I wouldn't say sales are booming.
