Nothing too new, wish they did something about the back, although it's grown on me over the years :)

For some reason, it reminds me of the RX330 from up front :Q

I dunno where your seeing RX330...

anyway its minor exterior facelift, but massive drivetrain facelift. All new electronic AWD system, a new 4.8L V8 :)Q probably due to the FX45 outperforming the 4.6), etc..

The parking lights and headlights reminds me of the RX330 as well as the bumper area. Dunno, I'm just crazy I guess :p

bmw does this to all their models when they have been out for 3-4 years. they give them new front and rear air dams, brush up styling lines and update the engines. great way to keep from doing the design process all over again like most american and japanese manufacturers.

Honda does this every two years with a total redesign every four. I believe Toyota does a minor change every 2-3 years as well.

why is everyone hating the new 5 series? They look a hell of a lot better than the old one. Because of its exterior design, I never would've considered getting a BMW. That is until I saw my boss's 2002 BMW 745. It looked like a true luxury car, unlike the earlier models. Now that I've seen the new 5 series, I'm seriously considering them. The pre-2004 BMW 5 series looks like a throwback to the 1970s, when LSD-induced car designers got their cues from the junkyard.
