Rubbish. The Z4 doesn't even come close BMWS are NOT the best handling cars in the world. In fact they handle like pigs.

The boxster is the best handling car in its class bar none. Take a look at top gear vids of the M6 vs a 911S even with a 140 hp defecit the porsche still whoops the BMWs ass like theres no tomorrow.

The only way a Z4 could beat a Boxster S is if it was an M Z4 and there where lotsa straights, on a pure handling circuits the BMW would have its nuts handed back to it on a platter.

I sugest you read the article.

You might be thinking of a Z3 (which I have driven). But the new Z4 I drove is much much better than it's predecessor. The soon to arrive M-Coupe is a real beast with handling and performance specs that make Porsche cry.

While I haven't owned a Z4 I have driven one and I can easily say it is a better car than the Z3 but not comparable to the current generation Boxsters. I do own a 911 so I can comment.

M cars have always been great but you have to realize that BMW has been very sucessful in pulling the wool over peoples eyes. While suspension and dynamics might be great there is no disguising the fact that all BMWs in the end are fat pigs.

FYI C&D kinda sucks as a car magazine I suggest you read something like EVO of Car to get a proper perspective on automotive journalism and abilities.

That might help explain his decent driving skills. He's probably been drivng go karts and the like since he was a tot. You can drive a regular car at any age as long as it is not on a public street or road, a 10 year old can drive a regular m3 on a track with no legal worries.

The original S14 2.3L put out 195bhp but the later years of that series came with a 2.5L S14 that put out 238bhp.

Man, the OP is right. BMWs can't handle for anything, they're slow, and they look terrible too. Especially the M3s and M5s. No one even buys them anymore. Heck, last time I was on the lot, they were begging me to take an M3 for $1k under invoice.

Fortunately, I was smart enough to know that they suck, and turned them down. I'm so glad I don't have an M3.

Are you referring to a particular article? Because I think I saw something about someone going to fast in a residential area just near me and crashed into someone's garage. Didn't say anything about being airborne. Strange coincidence, I guess.
