Friend of mine is a Dentist. She leases X5. Such SOB car! always something brakes. Something wrong with transmission sometimes it doesnt go forward or opposite doesnt go reverse. they had it towed to dealership twice in past 5 month they either replaced or fixed transmission, last night car went in reverse or didnt stop I couldnt understand it backed into neighbors garage door. insurance gonna pay and car was towed to dealership again. what are her options its definetly something wrong with X5, since its leased car what are her options does lemon law applies? if dealer is not cooperating can BMW corporate office do anything?

How long into the lease are they? Just start b!tching up a storm. Speak to the Service manager, New Car manager...then contact a district or regional manager and, if it can be, invoke the lemon law and seek arbitration.

I agree with conjur, push the issue with anybody and everybody from the store manager and up. My dad had a similar situation with a Cadi. Ended up getting a couple of free months of lease payments and eventually a new car.
