Wow, that's a sharp-looking ride. 😎 I'm sure it's "light" by BMW standards, but in the same breath, I doubt it will compete performance-wise with the best of the Big Four.

But then again, if you're buying (and can afford to buy!) a BMW motorcycle, you don't give a whit about that!

Yeah, BMW buyers are pretty much a different demographic than the must-have-the-latest-liter-bike crowd. Mostly older guys with plenty of loot. 😛

and holy sh|t, how can 4 cylinders with 1.2L makes 160 horsepower.... that engine is smaller than the Echo/Scion.
 
160 horsepower on a lightweight motorcycle chassis - that thing must be wickedly fast.

The 2004 Yamaha YZF-R1's 1.0 liter engine makes 172, just a bit under the new 2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000.
