BMW 645Ci Coupe, Jaguar XJR, or Mercedes-Benz CLS 500?

Probably the CLS 500 - that thing is the most striking new car in many years IMO, and the most beautiful Merc since the 300SL Gullwing. If you made it the CLS 55 (which is closer to being an XJR competitor than the CLS 500), it would be the hands-down winner.

The XJR would be my #2, then the 645.

The CLS 55 is about 20K more - is it worth it?

Bimmer. Cuz it gets all the ladies.

but the 6-series is fugly ...

I'd get the CLS55 AMG

XJR is too small

I believe the XJR is larger than the CLS, actually.

D'OH, I got the XJR and XKR confused!

I saw 6-series on the list and I prematurely thought that we were talking about coupes ...

If this is a sedan thread, I'd definitely get the M5 if it was on the list ...

Looks like the CLS 500 stickers at about $72K, the XJR at around $76K, and the CLS 55 around $89K. I will probably never have the money for any of these, but if I did, I think I'd spring for the CLS 55. IMO this might be the most desirable sedan on the market (now that they've fuglified the M5 and equipped it with SMG), so in that sense it's a bargain compared to the Maybach/Rolls/Bentley crowd.

Yeah, if I was in the market for one, I'd definitely give bias toward the CLS 55. Even though it's about $8K more than the E 55, it has a sleeker look. And it's not the boring S-Class ...

Jaguar, why? I already drive one.

Sadly, because I'm too young to buy a car, if my parents were in the market for these cars, they'd choose the Jag ...

Why?

Because they already own cars from the other two manufacturers and they don't seem to stay with one maker
