thats a big price difference if you can fork the extra money go for the tl type-s that is a beautiful ride and almost as quick as the cl,, being heavier that is,, and the bmw's are pretty much gettin played out,, i see like 5 or 6 330 ci's a day but the tl's u don't see as much so my opinion would be the tl type-s =D

go with 330ci.

it's hands down better car.
i drive acura integra gs-r
but that's only because 330ci was out of my price range. 🙁

vtech is nice, but for everyday driving, i choose 330's engine.
really... how often will you push your rpm up to 8k range?
i did it quite often when i first purchase my car...
but after a while, you start to prefer some usable torque.

Get an Audi LOL

That said

Bimmer = car
Beamer = motorcycle.

This ATOT public service message brought to you by BMW.

wow... have you ever driven a 330ci?
i don't think you'd say that after test driving one of those.

and again, hitting 8k rpm is fun for awhile...
but it does wear out.

330ci's got hp and torque.
the last time i drove one of those... it was definately fast.

that engine has lots of room to grow as well.

Any 3 series besides the M = SLOW
Type-S = NOT SLOW

the Type-S wins in all of my tests

you just don't understand "german" horsepower

personally, I would go for the BMW with a manual tranny, but don't forget the BMW makes a good auto too

I test drove a 330xi auto... it seemed tail-happy without ever actually sliding out. I didn't like the dynamics. But the brakes were awesome! I could have gotten it just for those 🙂. The smoothest engine I've ever been within 15' of too. I'm not much for creature comforts... give me awesome dynamics any day. That's why I got the WRX 😀 😀 😀. If you're just going for a good sports-lux car and won't be pushing your car's limits often, I'd say go for the CL-S. If you're an enthusiast, you know the answer: you can't drive a Wrong Wheel Drive car!

Bimmer 330Ci all the way. If i had the chance to choose again I'll still go with the Bimmer 🙂 Acura is a Honda on different frame as someone had already said..... BMW is the Ultimate Driving Machine(handling, breaking system, torque and speed). 😀 Although there is a 8K difference between those 2 cars so you make the call.

P.S. better yet get the 530i <-----one Pimping Ride!!!! 😀

<< Get an Audi LOL >>

Well Duh! The S4 is like God's gift to the 40k sport luxury car 🙂

<< BMW is the Ultimate Driving Machine(handling, breaking system, torque and speed). >>

I don't see how you can include speed when the 330 is way outclassed by the Type-S. And I'd be willing to wage that the braking is as good if not better than the 330 due to its sportier nature.

So, did you test drive the BMW?

I don't think you'll be able to turn it down after you've driven it, since supposedly the BMW is all about how it feels. We all know the TL has more horses and can move in a straight line faster, but when it comes down to it, how often are you going to need that?

Also, seriously, would you rather tell people you drive a BMW, or an Acura? I think the choice should be obvious... 🙂

Nice situation to be in though... If that's the toughest decision you're gonna make for a while you're pretty damn lucky...

If it is any indicator, the CL is a sales flop. Honda is going to look at it for another year or so and discontinue it, if it continues it's current sales trend.

And oh yeah the 330ci all the way. While you are at it you should try checking out the TT too.

Well, if you're looking for opinions they I say get the Bimmer via the European Delivery program. In November, I traveled to Munich and picked up a 5-speed 330i with sport package, cold weather package, moonroof, bi-xenons, HK upgrade, etc. for $34k. An unbeatable deal and I got to thrash it around on the Autobahn, cruise twisty back roads in Germany and Austria, and of course test out the speed limiter 😉 . 5 months and 6,000 miles later and I could still sell it and make money on the deal. The CL Type S is a great car and perfect for some drivers, but you'll never get that kind of experience with one.

unless the acura has an LSD, go for the bmw. FWD + torque steer sucks.

that said, i'd take the bmw. it has an I6 and RWD.

<< Get an Audi LOL >>

of course i'm a bit biased...

given the Acura v. BMW choice... no contest... BMW.... IMHO. I just went to the Houston Auto Show on Saturday and had the chance to sit in both the Acura and BMW... and while the interior doesn't live up to Audi 🙂 standards, the BMW interior, to me, is way better than the Acura. The Acura interior felt a bit loose to me... reminded me of an Accord (not just because Acura is a Honda). I'm not saying the Acura is a bad choince... its a fine car... hell i'm even hoping my girlfriend decides to get one... but given the choice... BMW "0wnz"

Another vote for 5-speed manual 330ci... I have friends that have both TL-S and CL-S Acuras, and I was not really impressed with them. I have a BMW fetish however 🙂. I would love to have an M3. ...

Have you Test Driven the 2002 Audi S4 ? ?

280hp Bi-turbo Engine ? and Not To Mention " QUATTRO~!"

TAKE THAT WINTER~!

It'll be fully loaded.. for about the price of the BMW 330ci and it has a more attractive interior.. IMO

I think Audi S4 is a better car as well~ .. than the ACURA CL-Type S and the BMW...

but if it was between the Type S and the BMW ..

I'd get the Type S
