Blurry Text Problems with LCD...Please HELP!

Hey guys,
I have a Samsung 712N that I purchased a few weeks ago that seemed to have blurry text. I thought I had fixed the problem, but I still wasn't happy so I returned to CircuitCity and got a brand new replacement. I get the new monitor home and hook it up to find the same problem. I am running the monitor at 1280x1024@75hz(native resolution) on my 9800 PRO AIW with the DVI to VGA adapter supplied with the card. The text problem is killing my eyes, and I can't seem to figure out why. I am using the ClearType feature in WinXP Pro with Large Fonts (120 dpi) enabled. The text is blurry with both regular or large fonts enabled. My icons in both my system tray and quick launch bar are also both blurry and have jagged edges. If anyone can please offer any insight I would appreciate it.

are you SURE the native resolution is 1280?
I can't think of any other reason the text would look like crap
but then again, I don't know much about LCD's..

try changing the res and see what it looks like.

Craig,
I am 100% positive the native resolution is what I stated. It is clearly labeled on the box and in the manual. If you change to any other resolution it is way worse. This just really sucks considering I spent so much money on it expecting it to look better then my CRT.

Try it with cleartype off since not all LCDs look better with cleartype on(my Samsung 191T looks better with it off), you are using analogue so try the "auto button" which your Samsung LCD should have(my Samsung does)it`ll adjust and sharpen the picture up,btw have you tried a different VGA cable?
