Blurry LCD with VGA connection-any way to avoid?

Well, I just had a really long explanation but for some reason the forums ate my post, so I'll give you the executive overview (because I don't want to retype the whole thing): I have a 9700 Pro and am using 2 lcd monitors (20" and 18"). I used to have a dual dvi card and both were very crisp and sharp, but now the one using the VGA is notibly blurrier and less crisp. Is there any adjustment that can be performed which will rival the clarity of th DVI connection? Or am I SOL until a dual DVI GeForceFX?

It's a pain, I know! If you don't game then I would suggest that you look at a Matrox.

You could also just get a simple Matrox PCI with DVI out and use that as a second graphics card.

Typically the Mac people have it all figured out, most of their graphics cards come with dual DVI or ADC which are both digital :/ I don't understand why the makers of these cards make dual DVI sulotions, at least for the top models.

Look on your monitor for a fine tuning control for the frequency, this can help eliminate some shadows around text and general blurriness that auto-adjust won't catch.

Does it matter which monitor is on the vga?
Yeah, because I want to use the 20" as my main so I want that to be the clearer connection. I wonder how much I could pick up a simple DVI PCI card for?

I would get some plastic tubing to put around your vga cable. this should just keep it from touching other cables that can result in a little bit of interference. Other than that you are kind of sunk.

Is the resolution on the monitor connected via VGA set to the native resolution of the monitor? If not, that will make it look fuzzy.

Just a follow up to KristopherKubicki, you could try a high quality SVGA cable(Belkin make some good cables) .

Dude, have you ever run any EMI/RFI tests on electronic equipment? Plastic tubing is for ......., well let's just say that it can protect one system from cooties, but forget about EMI protection.
