blurry, fuzzy text now in V5 setup, not before

Hi, can't figure out after format why voodoo 5 is giving out very fuzzy, blurry text in EQ and everything else..do refresth thing, monitor default and all 3dfx tools back to default to see if I did something..aghh

other than not understanding what your saying about "do refresh thing", i belive fsaa will cause blurry text, as for in windows.. perhaps your card's filters are fubar'd, or you need to up the refresh rate depending on your monitor (i notice mine will wobble in the corners causing a blurry effect at anything under 100hz).

Sounds like it is definitely fsaa.

Go to Control Panel, Display, 3dfx Anti-Aliasing, and click on OpenGL and check the fsaa settings, then click on D3D and check them again.

fsaa is great for graphics, but it does make text look blurry. If your game has alot of text, you might want to turn fsaa off.
