I'd like to be able to stream audio and video to a BluRay player in another room via ethernet. I'd also like the player to be able to connect to Netflix and Amazon for movies. Do you have any suggestions? I've looked around but have read mixed reviews.

Thanks!

LG and Samsung make bluray players with UPNP access (media streaming), but I would suggest just getting two devices.. Get a bluray player with netflix (samsung 1600 is ok) plus a WD LIVE or a ASUS O!play. I know it's annoying to have two devices, but I truly doubt the networkable blu-ray players have the codec support of a wd live.

That's disapointing. You'd think someone could come out with a bluray capable of streaming video...

Thanks. Any other suggestions? I appreciate the help.

Build a HTPC? I was able to put one together for around $400 with a BR drive. May be more than you are looking to spend, not sure what your price point is.

samsung bd-p3600 can supposedly do it. but reading the reviews, it's very finicky and doesn't work right. I was looking for a similar device as well, but decided to get the Samsung BD-P1600 for now because supposedly samsung will be the only manufacturer supporting BB streaming (when it comes out)

I'll build a htpc later on
