blur problem with monitor

I bought a 17" KDS Xtreme flat monitor a couple months ago. At first I thought it was my eyes, but it's not. In the center and towards the end of my monitor, text apears to be blurred slightly, for example with an icon on my desktop. When i drag it away from the area, it is focused. Is this a fixable thing? or is this a "feature" I have to deal with having a flat screen monitor?

Try slapping the monitor on the casing.... that may help the focus..... if that doesn't work, exchange it for another, as the one you've gotten was damaged during shipping(it was thrown around a little too much)....

BTW: Isn't Vas Deferens the name of a part of a..... ummmmm..... male reproductive organ? 😀
