my laptop didn't come with bluetooth, so i have no way to transfer my cell phone files to my computer, since my cell phone didnt come with a USB either. So what i need to do is just to buy a bluetooth adapter plug it into my laptop's usb port and walla?
 
Or buy the cable.

You might also need some software to sync the computer and phone.

What phone/service provider? Some don't allow it.
 
Most all phones require the proprietary software *coughs* torrent *coughs*. Most all phones use the same shitty software company, Avanquest or something like that. The software gives you bluetooth or cable choice. Life will be much easier if your phone supports a simple mini-USB cable to connect to the computer. The bluetooth requires a bluetooth driver for the phone, which isn't always available.
